Pablo

We are about to embark on yet another marching band season. Three weeks from tomorrow the real fun begins. This is our 6th and Alex's last season. He is ready to be done marching....no college marching band for him.

I look forward to this year with some sadness. The last of some of the people that I have spent the most time with in this band are done. Really done....no more children coming along. I am looking at a potential 6 more years with Jack in this band. I can only hope that I can be the friend and inspiration to others that these people were to me. You all know who you are. They taught me that it is impossible to say no.....you step in and get the job done. I will miss you very much!

There are new parents that, like me, can't say no. I tip my hat to you and will continue to put in my best effort. Thank you to those leaving us and thank you to those continuing or just joining us. This is a wonderful experience; one that your children will gain a great deal of benefit from.

The Lynx meet the Rhinos

Friday night was a big night for Jack. His soccer team got to run out with the Rhinos at the start of the game. Jack got to run out with his favorite goalie, Scott Vallow. He also got to go out on the field during half-time. He left a happy guy.

I left a happy fan. The Rhinos won again against a team higher up the standings list. Andrew Gregor played a little in the last 8 minutes. I am excited to see what happens in the last half of this season. I would like to see Darren Tilley and Rob Clark vindicated for the changes they have made this year. I am just happy to have the chance to continue to see them play at Paetec Park.
