Elvis has left the building.......
.....Bob Marley too.
We just celebrated Bob's birthday on Tuesday with jerk chicken and hashless brownies (in deference to his Rastafarian roots!). I, of course, enjoyed my vegetarian chicken sandwich in honor of his Rasta roots. We sang and introduced Alex's friend Craig to more of the weirdness that it is to be one of my children.
Last month we celebrated Elvis's birthday because Jack is a HUGE fan. The above picture was taken on Jack's birthday last week after he opened his Elvis Impersonator Kit. He could almost pass.
In case you're still wondering (because, once again, I am not keeping up to date here :-<):
~My neck is fine but I blew out my knee on the weight machines at the YMCA and haven't even been able to walk in a week. I haven't minded too much because of the bitter cold that has finally arrived to make up for December and January. Monday I am going to start back because I can't stand not exercizing. Yes, I just said that!
~Sam didn't win Top Chef and I am disappointed but at least it wasn't Marcel. Now I have moved on to Top Design. I am such a sucker. At least I am over the model thing :-D
~Jammin Jazz Night is next Thursday and being the over involved Mom that I am, I have immersed myself in it. If you are in Rochester and want to help the Eastridge Jazz Band raise money for their trip to Montreal please join us at East Irondequoit Middle School Thursday, Feb 15th at 7p for some jammin jazz and tasty desserts.
~I am officially waiting for spring now....
